CyberLink PowerDVD 10 Ultra 3D II:

CyberLink PowerDVD 10 Ultra 3D IIplays all types of media content - movies, videos, photos and music, and brings the best in video and audio technologies to upgrade all your viewing experience to HD and 3D, including streamed content via home network, or, Youtube, Facebook and Flickr pages.  PowerDVD 12 is the ultimate entertainment software you need anywhere at home and on-the-road. Six grand for a new TV? You're having a laugh. For that we'd want a TV, a car and a holiday in Hollywood, yet that's the asking price of a new 3DTV. And you can bet some people will pay it too, particularly audio-visual enthusiasts.

AV fans, lest we forget, would happily spend hundreds of pounds on an oxygen-free, organic copper, hand crafted single-direction cable and claim it heralded a new age of enlightenment. Us mortals with human senses and inhuman bank managers can only look on and wonder. Those cables are probably poppycock, but could 3D be the real deal – an actual revolution?

If you've not got a king's ransom to spend but want to find out for yourself, don't fret – Cyberlink PowerDVD 10 Ultra 3D could be the answer. It aims to transform your DVDs into an all-out 3D experience.

Before we get to the caveats, let's have some fun. Cyberlink claims it can transform or upscale video in almost any digital format and turn it into just about any type of 3D movie. All you do is insert a DVD, click the interface's '3D' button, select the depth of field you'd like and choose your display system: TrueTheater 3D will do the rest.

The results are, as you'd expect, variable. Take a rough old 2D movie (we tried a Rolling Stones concert) and things go wrong: we found that occasionally a guitar appeared to pop out of the screen. So don't expect your Dad's Army DVD collection to be transformed into an Avatar-style 3D spectacular. But give the system an old 3D movie that demands red-and-blue glasses, wait for it to do its work and then don a pair of Nvidia's 3D glasses, and the results are more convincing.

Finally, when Blu-ray 3D arrives, Cyberlink will offer a free patch and you'll be able to watch the latest generation of digital 3D movies at home. With this grade of source material you'll experience 3D as it's intended to be seen by the movie director.

Now those caveats. First, don't expect PowerDVD 10 Ultra 3D to transform a tired old Pentium 3 into a home entertainment system that will make you spill your popcorn. You'll need a solid dual-core processor and a modern graphics card – an ATI Radeon HD2400 or an Nvidia GeForce 8800GT are the minimum.

For 3D playback you'll also need a 3D display and some 3D glasses. A Samsung SM2233RZ 3D monitor and an Nvidia 3D Vision setup would be perfect, but will probably cost you £350 all-in.

There's one final problem: the headaches. Following a demo of PowerDVD 10 on the best kit available, some of our team experienced terrible eyestrain and headaches. Many people are concerned about 3DTV and headaches (join the debate on our website), so before splashing out on the equipment you need to see 3D, give it a good long try in person. With some aspirin.

How to design website by Adobe Dreamweaver

Adobe Dreamweaver 8:

Macromedia Dreamweaver 8: is the industry-leading web development tool, enabling users to efficiently design, develop and maintain standards-based websites and applications. With Dreamweaver 8, web developers go from start to finish, creating and maintaining basic websites to advanced applications that support best practices and the latest technologies.

Macromedia Dreamweaver is one of the most popular web-design programs in the industry. It allows you to develop professional websites and its user-friendly interface, tools and features have made it the must-have package for web designers.

Dreamweaver uses both Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML) and it has good code-editing support features that will help you to write the CSS and HTML. Alongside writing the code, you can use the visual layout tools to build your sites and make them look exceptional.

You can use plug-ins to place videos, music and other media into web pages. If you want a site that is easy to update, then you can embed a live stream of content by using RSS.

Pros

Dreamweaver 8 is easy to use and has lots of great new features. It allows you to use CSS and RSS to make your sites look better than ever.

Cons

Some users have reported a problem with the file-time stamp in Dreamweaver 8, which made it difficult to know when a file was last worked on. This was fixed with the 8.0.1 update though.

Conclusion

Using Macromedia Dreamweaver to create websites is much more fun than simply writing code from start to finish. Using its many tools and features will help you to create much more sophisticated pages too. Being able to add media and RSS feeds will make your sites stand out from more ‘flat’ ones that just provide a few words and pictures.

The sky is quickly filling with cloud storage services.Google Drive has now steps into the competition, skydrive has been updated, and other players like Dropbox are holding strong.when choosing a cloud storage locker, what are the most important things to look for in terms of ease of use,cross-platform access, cost, reliability, security.privacy and legal rights?

Google Drive:

Google has arrived in the new era of storage. They've launched   "Google drive".

Google drive works with any browser and can run on Macs,PCs and android devices.Google has launched its iOS app that will let Apple devices access the service.Google is offering 5GB free storage,an additional 20GB costs  $30 a year.Google drive offers 1 TB for $600 a year.To store and secure your data on Google drive click here

SkyDrive:

Microsoft has launched its cloud based data storage service named as "SkyDrive".

SkyDrive runs on windows vista, windows 7 and windows 8.Microsoft released Mac os X Lion. This service has mobile apps for windows phone and iOS devices, but not for Android.

SkyDrive offers an initial 7GB of storage for free.an additional 20GB costs $10 a year,additional 50GB costs $25 a year and $50 a year for an extra 100GB.

Dropbox:

Another trusted name in cloud based technologies is "Dropbox".

Dropbox runs on windows,Mac,Linux platforms. It has mobile app for the iphone,iPad,android and BlackBerry devices.Dropbox Offers consumers 2Gb of free storage but can be increased to 18GB through referrals and other means at the rate of 500MB per referral.Dropbox pro 100 plan offers 50GB of storage for $100 a year, and 100GB for $200 a year or $20 a month. Both these plans can be in creased by 32GB at the rate of 1GB per refrral.Start using Dropbox click here

iCloud:

Apple's iCloud is pretty reserved for the users of apple products.

as iCloud is reserved for Apple products(and compatible also). it only runs on PCs, Mac and other iOS devices.Apple iCloud offers 5G storage space for free.it charges $20 for 10GB,$40 for 20GB and $100 for 50GB storage.

In terms of privacy and security:

"Google terms says...that anything you uploaded to Google drive can be used by Google and you can't stop that by removing it," Pam Dixon, executive director of World Privacy Forum, said.
Google will release user data to meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforcement governmental request.

Dropbox explicitly denies ownership of user's data, and it claim that, with rare exceptions,it will refuse to share user's data with law enforcement agencies without user's permission.

Most storage service providers can reset user's password if in case they forget them, which means they can automatically see what's behind that password.
When you put  your data in the cloud, you should assume that it will be compromised.Consumers shouldn't put their data on cloud,as health care info, accounts etc, that might be harmful if compromised.
